This year year the Monon Center was pleased to work with a group of guys who have joined together in a grassroots effort to brighten up the Halloween Holiday here in Greensboro, Pa. Due to inclement weather, the festivities were moved from the Monon Center Lawn to the Greensboro Gazebo.
The Mon River Holiday Committee hosted the 5th annual Halloween Party and this year 80 children of all ages participated in games and contests. The committee would like to thank the community and businesses who supported this year’s event.
Thanks again to the Greene County Department of Parks and Recreation for donating prizes for the Costume Contest; winners were Coal Miner Boy, Scary Princess, and Lego Boy.
Thanks also go out to the Medicine Mine, “Christy’s Store”, Radio Shack, Greene County Department of Parks and Recreation, Rita Gianfrido, Tom Flynn, Todd Perry, Gordon Keck, Bear Louk, Dan Flickinger, the Greensboro Borough and numerous anonymous donors.
